You will get a chart for that day. To the right of the moon phase and age there will be a colored rectangle with Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor. This is the measure of how good the fishing should be for that day.

Major Feeding Moon Overhead (1 hour before and 2 hours after Lunar Noon (Lunar Transit) and Major Feeding Moon Underfoot (1 hour before and 2 hours after Lunar Noon (Lunar Transit) - 12 hours)

These are two generally accepted timeframes for good fishing

Minor Feeding Moon rising (1 hour before and 2 hours after Lunar Rise) and Major Feeding Moon setting (1 hour before and 2 hours after Lunar Sset)

These are the other two generally accepted timeframes

These two standards are used on most Solunar Tables. We have found that the Major/Minor periods relate at a 75% to 25% ratio meaning we usually catch 3 times more fish in the Major than in the Minor.

Excellent, Good, Fair, Poor ratings are given to a day by calculating the solar and lunar influence in the major and minor timeframes. The more influence, the better the day. You will see the solar influence by the symbols directly to the left of the major and minor timeframes.

HuntStats.com takes Solunar Tables one step further by applying Census and Harvest records. This allows us to predict the top 6 best time frames. Our tables are only a guide and don't guarantee results, but they have proven fruitful time and time again. Here are a few testimonies from HuntStats.com users.
